Truffle Stroll

Saturday, October 3, at 10:45 am, the “On the Trails of La Morra” series returns, the walks organized by the Tourist Office to discover the area, its nature and its traditions.
This time, we will follow in the footsteps of the truffle together with Carlo Marenda, who, together with Edmondo Bonelli, created the Save The Truffle project in Alba in 2015, with the aim of protecting and promoting Piedmont’s natural truffle grounds.
Starting from Bricco delle Viole, this will be an opportunity to learn more about the world of truffles, their delicate relationship with the woodland and the Langhe landscape, and to discover the work involved in safeguarding this extraordinary natural heritage.
A walk to understand how protecting truffles depends on caring for the land, restoring old truffle grounds and planting new truffle-producing trees.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Centro Nazionale Studi Tartufo of Alba.
