N° 2 – Sentiero della Madonna di Loreto

The trail starts from the Tourist Office and descends along Via Vittorio Emanuele. After passing the sports field, turn right onto a road that begins paved and then becomes a dirt path through the vineyards, leading to the Chapel of the Madonna di Loreto, where there is a rest area. From here, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Alba and the Tanaro Valley. To the left of the chapel lies the village of Verduno, recognizable by the pyramid-shaped dome of the Sanctuary of Blessed Valfrè.
Continue by descending to the right along a steep farm track until you reach the municipal road. Turning right and heading uphill, the road takes you back toward the village, passing through vineyards and cultivated fields. Along the way, you can admire views to the left toward the Grinzane Cavour hill, with its famous castle, and Diano d’Alba in the distance.
