Buganza Radici e Filari

For over forty years, the Buganza family has been producing and bottling low-impact wines from the hills of Langhe and Roero, in the heart of Piedmont’s wine country.

Today, all the family’s vineyards are certified organic and biodynamic. Their wines are released under two labels: Renato Buganza, the historic brand of the family’s classic wines, and Radici e Filari, representing the new generation of natural wines.

The historic label of a family of artists and winegrowers. These are classic, complex wines, aged extensively yet always maintaining balance and elegance. Each label is dedicated to a family member’s art — from grandfather Oddone’s cello to his son Emanuele’s puppetry, mother Agnese’s accordion, and father Renato’s poetry. These are unique wines, crafted to the family’s taste, with historic vineyards over 80 years old, preserving a rare and valuable genetic heritage.

RADICI E FILARI
In Radici e Filari wines, peasant tradition meets contemporary sensitivity. The sulfite-free Barbera, the skin-contact Arneis made “as it once was,” the Langhe Nebbiolo that revives an ancient native grape, and the ancestral-method sparkling wine combining Arneis and Nebbiolo are all the result of meticulous, artisanal work — using indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention.
The outcome is authentic, fruity, and balanced wines, expressing simplicity, roots, and respect for nature.
