A Landmark for Discovering and Tasting the Great Wines of La Morra.

Founded in 1973 through an initiative by the Municipality of La Morra and local producers, the Cantina Comunale di La Morra was created to showcase and promote the work of the village’s winemakers, offering a meeting point between visitors and more than 80 wineries in the area.

The wine cellar is housed in the former stables of the old castle, located in Piazza Belvedere, in the heart of the historic center. Here, beneath stone vaults and among walls lined with bottles, visitors can taste and purchase a wide selection of wines — including Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and local whites — which rotate throughout the year.

The Cantina Comunale is also a hub for culture and events, hosting themed tastings, exhibitions, and initiatives that celebrate the world of wine and the spirit of the Langhe.
