Castrum Roche

Founded in 2017 by Isacco Costamagna, a young winemaker who graduated from the Enological School of Alba, Castrum Roche was born from his passion and experience gained over several years of working as a grape supplier.

The vineyards are located in the Torriglione cru, a historic area of La Morra already mentioned in land registries dating back to the 1400s, and have given rise to the first bottles of Langhe Nebbiolo starting from the 2021 vintage.

Covering 2 hectares of Nebbiolo vineyards, all situated within the Torriglione cru, the estate is managed with environmentally friendly practices — no herbicides or chemical fertilizers, and only contact treatments. Today, as the winery continues to grow, it has expanded its production beyond Langhe Nebbiolo to include new projects, such as a Barolo and a Langhe Rosato.
