Curto Marco Az. Agricola di Curto Nadia
Since 2000, Nadia Curto has been running the family winery founded by her parents, Marco and Adele. She learned traditional winemaking techniques from her father and a more “modernist” approach to Barolo from her uncle, Elio Altare.
The estate was established over 60 years ago, when Marco and Adele began personally cultivating four hectares of land with great passion and dedication. Their focus has always been on quality, limiting grape yields to keep the vines healthy and strong. Fermentation takes place without the use of selected yeasts, and the wines are neither filtered nor clarified, allowing them to fully express the terroir and the wine’s authentic character. Today, the winery produces eight classic Langhe wines, all certified organic, following an artisanal approach that combines tradition and respect for nature.
Located in La Morra, in the Annunziata hamlet, the winery offers guided tastings, which can be booked and paid for online.
It produces around 26,500 bottles per year, cultivates 40,000 square meters of vineyards, and proudly carries forward more than six decades of family experience, crafting wines with a distinctive personality and a deep connection to the land.
