The Giuseppe Ellena winery is located in La Morra and covers approximately 15 hectares, of which 5 are planted with vineyards, 8 with hazelnut groves, and 2 with woodland.

The Ellena family has been dedicated to viticulture since 1966, resuming independent winemaking in 2009 after several years as part of a cooperative. Today, three generations work side by side, combining tradition and innovation to best express their deep connection with the land.

In the vineyards, sustainable practices are adopted, with short pruning and low yields achieved through careful thinning. The management follows the principles of integrated agriculture, prioritizing low environmental impact methods.
In the cellar, winemaking is gentle, featuring natural fermentations and long macerations, especially for Barolo. Ageing takes place in steel tanks, large oak casks, and French barriques, without any chemical treatments before bottling.
