Poderi Cantine Oddero
A historic name among Barolo producers.
A heritage winery and one of the oldest names in Barolo production, Oddero has passed through generations of winemakers, remaining deeply tied to the Langhe’s winemaking tradition. Once a family led exclusively by men, the estate is now proudly owned and managed by Mariacristina and Isabella, daughter and granddaughter of Giacomo Oddero, a true patriarch of Barolo and a figure renowned well beyond the Langhe. Combining ancient knowledge with modern production techniques, the winery approaches cultivation and vinification with patience, precision, and dedication, giving meticulous attention to every stage, from pruning to pressing to the long aging of its finest vintages.
The Oddero estate covers approximately 36.5 hectares, including 18 hectares planted with Nebbiolo for Barolo. Poderi e Cantine Oddero proudly owns some of the most prestigious “sorì” (sun-drenched vineyards) in the Langhe, including: Vignarionda in Serralunga d’Alba, Brunate in La Morra, Bussia Vigna Mondoca in Monforte d’Alba, Rocche di Castiglione, Fiasco, and Villero in Castiglione Falletto, Monvigliero in Verduno, as well as Gallina in Neive, and Bricco Chiesa, Roggeri, Capalot, San Biagio in Santa Maria di La Morra, and Collaretto in Serralunga d’Alba.
